Mentimeter's vision is to transform presentations and meetings into fun and interactive experiences by making it easy to listen and to be heard. We believe in giving everyone a voice in every meeting and presentation. We are building a modern, friendly, and diverse product-first tech company based in Stockholm, and we would love for you to join us!

To succeed in our mission to create a great product experience, we are building out a world-class Research Team - that can lead us into the unknown future of the Mentimeter product, fueled by our desire to challenge tomorrow’s presentation and meeting experiences. We already have a great team in place, and we want to continue to learn and evolve as we grow.

We are looking for a Senior User Researcher to join our growing team. As a User Researcher, you will help our team gain a deeper understanding and empathy for our users, letting us improve the product to meet their goals and needs better. You will collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Developers, and Data Scientists to identify research questions, determine how to best answer them, and support teams to take action on research findings and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, scope, and run research that helps us tackle our design challenges.
  • Facilitate synthesis, generating insights and opportunities for design.
  • Support and coach designers in their research efforts, helping establish best practices for teams, and leveraging insights for their designs.
  • Help build the research team as we evolve the UX Research practice - methodology, tooling, support, training, and strategic guidance.

Skills Needed:

We believe you have:

  • 4 years of UX/design research experience, working cross-functionally with design, product, content, marketing, and analytics teams. Ideally, you also have a background in human-centered design/design thinking.
  • Expertise in scoping and managing research engagements throughout the human-centered design process in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders (marketing, design, product managers, customer success, etc.)
  • Experience using qualitative research methods in a product development environment.
  • Familiarity with quantitative research methods, comfortable with metrics and A/B tests, and able to synthesize quantitative data with qualitative user research.
  • Experience working with ambiguous and unstructured questions, breaking them down into relevant and concrete research work streams.
  • Strong presentation skills with a creative and compelling storytelling style.
  • Excellent facilitation skills to help lead research debriefs, brainstorming exercises, and/or other workshops that utilize design thinking approaches to fuel ideation and evaluate product design grounded in research findings.

It's a bonus if you:

  • Have experience with service blueprinting or experience mapping.

Application:

  • You don't have to know any Swedish - daily work is carried out in English and the Mentimeter team currently boasts over 40 different nationalities!
  • A portfolio isn't required but we'll want to see some of your work in the case study.
  • Not sure you meet 100% of the requirements? We encourage and welcome your application anyway!

This role will have its base in our HQ in Stockholm and is an onsite/hybrid role.
