HR Generalist

As HR Generalist you will be collaborating closely with our General Manager and People & Culture team in developing and supporting our team with a wide range of HR functions throughout our full employee journey.
Skills Needed:
Role responsibilities:
- Administer health & life insurance programs, support in procuring new vendors when needed
- Create & update employee records
- Collaborate with payroll provider for processes & accounting of employee benefits, expenses etc
- Lead & collaborate with immigration partner for work visa application/renewals process
- Support in developing and implementing HR policies throughout the organization
- Ongoing revision of existing processes & policies to ensure legal compliance
- Stay up-to-date and ensure compliance with changes in labor legislation
- Support in organizing internal arrangements such as travels, training sessions, and team-building events
- Support in recruitment when needed, including driving full recruitment processes, headhunting, and employer brand initiatives
- Support in employee onboarding process when needed
- Support in answering colleagues HR questions regarding e.g. insurances, vacation & benefits
We believe you have:
- 5-7 years experience with in a similar role
- Solid understanding of labor legislation and payroll process
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Professional level English
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good problem-solving abilities
- Higher education in Human Resources or relevant field
- Experience from recruitment is a bonus but not a must

NOTE: This is a hybrid position (3+ days from our office in downtown Toronto)
