Are you the head of customer success we’re looking for?

Refined is on a mission to reimagine the user experience for business software to make it more accessible to more people for more purposes. Our product is a codeless site builder that turns Atlassian Confluence and Jira into custom intranets, documentation sites, support desks and more.

All told, Refined powers sites at more than 4,000 customers worldwide, from Fortune 500s like Apple and Microsoft to countless other small and medium-size businesses as well as government entities, educational institutions, and nonprofits. We want to help these customers make meaningful progress over time, by showing them how our apps can help them realise their desired use cases (support, ITSM, intranets, documentation, learning & development, etc.).

That’s where you come in. We’re looking for an experienced and self-starting Head of Customer Success to build and run the Customer Success function. You’ll drive business by developing processes and activities to increase the customer value for our customers using Refined. Your team will guide customers to success, nurturing customer relationships, collecting customer insights, and sharing product knowledge.

You’ll become an expert on our product line across both Cloud and Data Center deployments, as well as the competing and complementary products available on the Atlassian Marketplace. You’ll also serve as a critical link between between customers and internal stakeholders like Product, Marketing and IT/security to help improve our offerings, hone our messaging, communicate product plans and developments, and ensure we’re delivering on partner needs in all areas.

We’re looking for someone who thrives on both thinking about high level strategies as well as digging into the details and getting their hands dirty. You need to be proactive and figure out what to do, and how to do it, with minimal guidance. In exchange you’ll have a lot of freedom to build something amazing.

As Head of Customer Success, you will:

  • Lead the customer success team in the efforts of reducing churn.
  • Expand our revenue in accounts through cross-selling and up-selling.
  • Develop a Customer Success strategy that aligns with the company level OKRs.
  • Measure the effectiveness of Customer Success activities.
  • Be the voice of the customers internally, towards the leadership and product team.
  • Attend events in Europe and US.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • 5+ years of SaaS Customer Success experience (or from similar professions, like partnerships and modern inbound sales roles).
  • 2+ years experience managing people, with proven coaching skills.
  • A deep understanding of value drivers in SaaS businesses.
  • An analytic and structured way of working.
  • A problem-solving mindset, plus genuine interest in helping our customers develop their business using Refined’s products.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
