About the job

You will be a part of an outstanding Engineering department who work agile and like the idea of collaborating across teams. This role belongs to the platform team who currently is taking a new form with focus on ownership and product roadmap. This is all under construction, with significantly greater ambitions than before 🚀

We always want to create simple and fun products for our customers, which doesn't require boring manuals and long education. This stretches all the way down to our platforms, where we strongly believe in automation and API:s. The command-line interface (CLI) is probably your best friend, but for your less CLI-savvy software colleagues, you will help simplify the same concepts.

To-do list ahead: 

🍀 Create roadmap for tools and processes managed by the team

🍀 Improve efficiency and reduce complexity for developers by setting platform standards and continuously increase the level of automation  

🍀 Maintain core dependencies and keep them running reliably and scalably as Telavox continues to scale globally  

🍀 Collaborate closely with other teams to follow up on your efforts, as well as to identify further improvement potential

About you

Top 3

🧑‍💻You have several years of SW developer experience, probably working with scaling distributed systems & Java

💪You understand what software developers need to feel empowered

➕It’s a big plus if you come from DevOps-heavy roles with responsibility for setting up CI/CD, IaaS and monitoring
