⭐️ About the role

As we continue to grow we are now looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, security, high-performance and scalability of our systems. Stepping into this role is an opportunity to have a major impact on the foundation for Alexis building the next generation of HR tools by driving and evolving how we build, deploy, manage and monitor our platforms.


What you’ll be doing

  • Improve system reliability, through the use of monitoring, alerting, automation and documentation

  • Improve our incident management lifecycle to identify, mitigate, and learn from reliability risks

  • Incident response, diagnosis and follow-up on system outages or alerts across AlexisHR’s production infrastructure

  • Increase developer productivity by building innovative tools that reduce maintenance overhead

  • Share your knowledge and experience to help other developers increase their knowledge in how to operate and scale a platform successfully

  • Act as a bridge between product, platform and development teams; understand the priorities and concerns of each, and help set appropriate requirements, including SLAs, SLIs and SLOs

  • Design for privacy, security, compliance, high availability, performance and resilience across all web services and infrastructure capabilities

  • Automate and test process for Disaster Recovery to ensure minimum time for RPO/RTO

Your qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Platform engineer, SRE, Infrastructure engineer or DevOps engineer

  • Kubernetes and Linux

  • Infrastructure-as-code (Pulumi or Terraform)

  • Cloud experience from any of the major providers (Google Cloud/AWS/Azure)

  • Monitoring technologies such as Prometheus, New Relic or Sumo logic

  • Incident response service such as PagerDuty or Squadcast

  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, fluency in coding and high traffic / high availability system architecture

  • Speak English with full professional proficiency or higher

We consider it a merit if you also have experience with

  • CI/CD (Github Actions/Gitlab CI/Jenkins/Teamcity)
