Senior Product Manager
We’re currently looking for a Senior Product Manager to join us and help us develop our product and make it even more valuable to our 200+ million users.
The product organisation at Mentimeter is organised into two areas, the Core area, that this role will be part of, and the Commercial area. Our cross-functional product teams, representing Product Management, Design, Engineering crafts, are organised around the different parts of the user journey within the Mentimeter product.
As a Senior PM you’re responsible for driving the strategy, vision and objectives for your product team, working closely with your Design and Engineering peers in the product trio. You connect the dots from vision all the way down to the deliverables, making sure effort is spent on the most valuable thing. This requires effective communication and leadership skills, as success is dependent on the continuous collaboration of the product trio and the product team.
What you will do
- Shape a compelling vision and strategy for your part of our product, based on a deep understanding of users’ needs, market, competition
- Define and align meaningful objectives and key results, own the roadmap for your domain
- Formulate hypotheses that help validate what experiences to design, implement, run and evaluate product experiments to reach your objectives
- Ensure that valuable features, enhancements, and bug fixes are prioritized and shipped, making thoughtful product decisions along the way, and sharing insights with the rest of the company
- Manage internal and external stakeholders
- Develop a deep understanding of the industry, competitive landscape, macro and technology trends
- Coach other Product Managers on best practises
- Help Mentimeter form an effective and agile product team structure as the team grows.
Skills Needed:
Skills & Requirements
As one of the Senior PMs in the Core product management team, we expect you to have strong strategic thinking and the ability to drive product development work with customer value and business outcomes in mind, showing excellent collaboration skills and leading by example in the PM group.
We believe you have :
- 4+ years experience as a Product Manager(NB: not project management)
- Experience working with SaaS products
- Strong leadership skills being able to bring the best out of your team
- Experience mentoring or coaching other Product Managers is desired

- Able to communicate your vision for the product in a compelling way, engaging your team, stakeholders to align, contribute and deliver the best outcomes

- Are adaptable to your team’s needs and balance well strategic and operational responsibilities
