We’re currently looking for a Director of Product to join us, helping us develop our product teams and organization, making our product even more appealing to our 200+ million users around the world.

As Director of Product, you are responsible for the product management and product managers of a product area. There are currently two product areas at Mentimeter - Core Product and Commercial, this position is within the Core Product area. The Core Product area consists of 5-7 teams, each with their own product manager, product designer and tech lead. You will be leading the product managers in making sure we build great products that our users love and that help us reach our targets.

What you will be doing

  • Take charge of our main product; an audience engagement platform loved by millions of users. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of Mentimeter’s product.
  • Lead, coach and support the product managers of your area and make sure they have what they need to make the right product decisions.
  • Work closely with the area leads for design and engineering and together empower the product teams and their ways of working.
  • Recruit new product talent to your organization and ensure the team setup can deliver on product targets.
  • Set, communicate and execute on our product strategy in collaboration with our CPO.
  • Define our long term product priorities together with your teams, the other director of product and the management team.
  • Translate the business and product strategy into targets in collaboration with Data & Insights and together with your product managers make sure we reach them.
  • Monitor key metrics, understand product performance and act on deviations when needed.
  • Work closely together with our Commercial Director of Product in ensuring alignment, promoting a product-first mindset and encouraging continuous improvements of ways of working.

Skills Needed:

  • Have at least 2 years of experience in product leadership roles, managing product managers.
  • Have experience working with SaaS products and high-growth product-first environments.
  • Are naturally curious and strive to make decisions based on user insights and data
  • Believe in empowered product teams and close collaboration between product, design and engineering.
  • Want to coach and inspire product managers to make better product decisions and develop their craft.
  • Want to make meetings and presentations more engaging, and want to give everyone a voice
  • Want to be part of a fast-growing organization and continuously work with (re)shaping the ways of working needed to ensure we stay agile and autonomous while scaling

Not a requirement

  • Swedish is not required - we are an English speaking first company with daily work and communication carried out in English as the Mentimeter team currently spans over 40 different nationalities!
